Wheeler County owns and operates both Bear Hollow Park and Shelton Wayside which include picnic tables, fire rings and newly installed vault toilets. The parks do not have electricity but excellent drinking water.
Bear Hollow Park
Located about 10 miles SE of Fossil along Highway 19, this park is open year-round and has 20 sites. You'll enjoy the aroma of Ponderosa pines and true firs on a warm day and keep an eye out for deer wandering in the nearby meadows. No reservations are taken for the sites.
Shelton Wayside
Located at 42853 Highway 19 about 13 miles SE of Fossil, this park is open from mid-April to Nov. 1 and has 40 sites. No reservations are taken for the sites.
Rates for both parks are $10 for the first night and $5 for each additional night. Extra vehicles are $5 per vehicle per night. Group rates (including scouts, schools, organizations, churches, clubs, etc.) are $2 per person.

Spray River Front Park
This scenic little RV Park has 8 primitive campsites only, no hook-ups. $12.00 per night.
